Title : My First Post

After so long, i have decided to blog again. Mostly is because of the influence of the young mummies out there. Has been reading young mummies blog and find it that it was meaingful to update every day of our life together with the one we love; especially awaiting for the arrival of our little one. Today shall start with the post, how i came to know about my pregnancy.

Last week on a saturday night, hubby was meeting his friends out for a drink at his friend's condo near great world. As usual, i tagged along with him. But was so surprised that the moment i smell liquor, i felt disgusted. Feel like puking. Coincidently, my "big aunt" have yet to visit me. At first i was thinking if whether i could be pregnant. But on the other hand, i am telling myself that maybe i think too much already.

But the following day was hubby cousin's wedding. We were the emcee for the night. It was my first time being emcee, am kinda nervous. So i went to the bar counter to take a glass of red wine to drink so that i could overcome my fear. Never did i expect that after drinking that glass of wine, the next moment i rush to the toilet to puke. Thoughts were running wild that night. Kept imagine what if i am really expecting. Was thinking like it is impossible to get pregnant as we have been practicing withdrawal method. Felt something was not right. Kept pestering hubby and asked him if he think i may be preggy. He told me, "impossible lah. where got so easy get pregnant one. If pregnant, long ago already pregnant le lo". After hearing, it ease my mind a little as we are still not prepared to be parents. But hubby insisted that if i am expecting, he wants to keep the baby and not gonna abort it.

The next day before i was going to brush my teeth, i puke again. This time i am even sure something was not right. I rush to the near by 7-11 to buy preganacy test kit. Reached office, went straight to the toilet to check if i am preggy. 5 mins passed. Upon the scale, it reads positive. I was like wth! I am not even prepared to be a mum yet. The whole of that day was like not my usual self. Mind and soul drift else where. Not in the mood to work. Called hubby, told him about it. He said that after work he will come back straight and discussed it with me. Told hubby that for the time being, just keep the news to ourself. After discussing then we break the news to both our parents.

Told both our parents that i am preggy. Luckily mum didn't say anything. She just asked what we going to do. To keep or abort. I told her i will be keeping it. She said "then faster go see gynae la, dont keep delay already." As for hubby's mum, was even funnier. I called and tell her, "mummy, i have got something to tell you leh. erm....i am pregnant already." While telling her, i am very very nervous already. Voice shaking. i dont know how she would react. But you know what she said? "orh. like that congrats to you lo." i was like ok. Then i told her if thats the case, then i congrats you back lo. You going to be grandma le ma.

After telling both parents, i feel much better. Am very grateful that both of our parents are very supportive.
